How To Apply Salon Effects Nail Polish Strips

Today, I'm going to show you how to use the salon effects nail wraps. Everything for the preparation is in the box. A nail file and a cuticle stick.

The first step is to push the cuticle back with the nail cuticle stick. Make sure your nails have a clean shape, use the light pink side to file the edge of the nail. Wash your hands with warm soapy water before putting the product on.

It helps with the application. We've done the first step of the preparation. Now, what we're going to do is size the tips up to the right fingers.

So, as you can see, it starts from the smallest to obviously the biggest. I found it easier to start with the pinky and work your way towards the thumb. Before I start the first wrap, I'm going to remove the natural oils with varnish remover.

Starting with the pinky, you take your chosen nail wrap, size it up, then you remove the backing. When you size up your finger, you have the choice of either end because the metal foil pops off and if it's a better fitting with the other side, you have a choice to use it, in this case, I'm going to do that. You place the wrap as close to centre the cuticle as you can get without going over the cuticle, press it down with your thumb and give it a stretch to the other end and pull it down underneath the free edge.

Then press from side to side and pull the tip off. It really is that simple. Take the nail file, you can use either light pink or dark pink side, I like the dark pink side because I find it's quicker.

File directly down the end of the nail, make sure it's pressed on and tight and that's it, that's your nail wrap done. So, again, you go as close to the cuticle, press down, stretch it down and under, press and pull. When you finish, even though it is real nail varnish, there's no drying time.

Once you're done with the last nail, you can walk out the door, and there's no danger of getting into trouble digging through your hand bag or unbuttoning anything. It's nail art but quicker. .
