How To Apply Silver Eyeshadow

Hello, my name is Karla Barchieri. I'm a freelance makeup artist, and today, I'm going to show you a few makeup tips. Now, I'm going to show you how to apply a silver eye shadow.

Silver eye shadow, I've got this very strong pigment. You can have pigments from Mac or any other store but this type of pigment's very strong and this doesn't get any silver than this. What I do with my flat brush for eye shadows is I am going to, first of all, put a tissue because most likely, the product's going to fall.

Close your eyes for me, please. And I'm going to work with the brush looking downwards and you can see, only by dabbing this product, how silver this is. This is like the mother of all silvers.

This is so intense and it's beautiful. This is very futuristic. So, all you do is dab the product as I'm doing and just make this product fade away so when your model or yourself opens your eyes, it's not as strong.

But when you have them closed, it actually looks really nice. Okay, and you can combine this sort of eye shadow with a frosty one or metallic one or you can even go all the way and apply a contour with a black eye shadow. So, the limit here is, the sky's the limit as they say.

So, now I'm going to apply this frosty white just here at the beginning of her eye and again, I'm just dabbing the product literally. I'm not moving the product, I just want it to stay there, okay, and so to make it look more shimmery. Okay, and then I'm going to do some more on the end just for a little effect.

Open your eyes for me. You can go also under but I will suggest, because this is a strong pigment, that you keep it on the top lid only and then you can also apply eyeliner or mascara. But this is how you apply silver eye shadow makeup. .
