How To Apply Spray Tan

Today, I'm going to show you what you need to have in your kit to apply the perfect spray tan. So, first of all, you're going to need some sticky feet. Now, what these are for is we basically peel off the back here and we place them to the sole of our model's feet.

And, that basically stops any tan penetrating the soles of the feet. We also need to have a buffing mitt; this is to buff the skin, and a paper thong, and also all of your products to achieve the perfect spray tan. So, what I'm going to do today with our lovely model, Charlotte, is I'm using three products.

I'm using an exfolies. Now, this is organic color varying fruit acids. So, what this is going to do is remove any deodorant, perfumes or body oils or dead skin flakes from the skin so it can give me a clean canvas for tanning.

And before that application, I'm also going to need my buffing mitt. Okay, so, now, I'm going to apply the exfoliate and we're going to buff and hydrate your skin, and we're going to get all those dead skin cells off. This is going to give us a really lovely clean canvas to be apt to apply the next step of the treatment which is the spray tanning itself.

So, I'm going to swap the bottles over. Okay, so, now, I'm going to show you how to apply the tanning product itself. So, basically, what we want to do is have very, very fine layers because you want each layer to have the chance to dry in between, so that your model's not sticky at the end.

So, we always go over the body in three layers. So, that's basically three layers now on the back. Now, when we're done, move to the legs.

It's very important that you keep your gun upright so that it stays the same distance from the body. So, we're going to start at the bikini line. Keeping the bottle straight, go all the way down to the ankle, up the centre, sliding to the left and then we're going to blend across, coming all the way up that knicker line again.

So, let me show you again. Sliding to the right, up the centre, sliding to the left and then you're going to blend the whole thing across. Now, what I mean by coming all the way up by the bikini line is that at the end of the treatment, you can show your model this beautiful tan line, and that's what I want to see.

So, at the end of applying your fantastic spray tan, what you want to do is lock in that gorgeously golden brown color. And the reason you want to do that is that you don't want anything to come off on your model's clothes. So, what we're going to use is a glycerine spray.

And it's just light dusting all over the body, and what that's going to do is lock in that lovely gorgeously brown color, and also just leave the skin feeling super soft and really hydrated. And that's how you could get the perfect spray tan. .
