How To Apply That Perfect Blush

Now, when you think about applying blusher, all you want to do is get that natural flush to the skin. Think about going for a walk, and after you've gone for a long 20-minute walk, you come back and get that really lovely rosy glow that is kind of on your nose, on your cheeks. So, that's all really that you want to bring to your cheeks, you don't want any of this 80's wacky blusher on your cheeks.

So, we've got a couple of blushers to choose from here, couple of different tones, one of them is quite a warm tone, one of them is a lot more pink. Aly here has a beautiful lovely color going through her lips, so I'm just going to try and match up with some blushers just to warm the skin up a little bit. When you apply the blush to the cheeks, make sure you apply a very, very small amount of product so you can always build it rather than put too much on at once.

You just smile for me Aly, take the brush to the apples of the cheeks and work it all the way up to that hairline. You don't want, if you turn your face for me, you don't want to stop here, you want to have that lovely fluid line going all the way in. It's really, really important here as well to blend, blend all the way along, you can always put a little bit more on as well, and don't forget if you've gone too far, and you think you've applied too much blusher, you can always get your foundation blush and just blend out the edges because you don't want to see any harsh edges with blusher, it's just a natural flush to the cheeks.

What's great about this blusher as well which is called Pink Rose is it's got a really, really beautiful subtle highlight in it. If you just have a look at her cheek here, it's got a natural glow going, going up, which is actually going to save you time from then finding another highlighter and popping on your cheek bones, so we want the products for that.
