How To Apply Thick Eyeliner
This video talks about how to apply thick eye liner
Hello! My name is Karla Barchieri and I'm a freelance makeup artist and today I'm going to show you a few makeup tips. Now I'm going to show you how to apply a thick black eyeliner. I'm going to use a gel eyeliner for this but this method can be used with a pencil liner or liquid liner.
It's just the same. What I suggest is for you to use an angle brush and this one you can get from virtually everywhere and the reasons is that we are going to work with the angles of the eye and you will see what I mean when I start doing it. You grab your product and in this case I'm going to use my hand as a palate, I'm going to take the excess product out, make sure that the product is even at both sides.
Okay, so I'm going to start, as I said, using the angles on this brush right on the lash line and to the center of the eye. And I do same exactly from the begging of the eye and I just push the product, I'm not mobbing the brush at all, I'm must literally pressing in. okay, and this is going to be my step one.
Okay, open your eyes for me please, so you can see you've got very thin liner for me there. All you've got to do now is pretty much fill in that line. So that depends on how thick your liner to be but in this case, I'm just going to make it quite thick for the purpose of this video and I'm just going to use again the angle brush and I'm going to make the angle point towards the brow and I'm going to press it quite sounds like to touch up parallel to the lead.
And remember we already did the line there so all I have to do is follow the line that we did time and time again. So as we go out of the eye towards the brow you will find that the line becomes thicker and this is what you want with it. Okay, so dab a little bit of the product and seep it towards the center and now inside towards the center.
That's it. Okay, open your eyes for me please. Ok that is quite thick, close your eyes.
Now I'm going to use the angle brush join that line with the lash line and you're going to press it down like so, or you can just color in. just make sure that there are no wide spaces between the lash line and your line. Ok, and again sweeping, and you're going to do this as many times as you feel you need to.
Now what I'm going to do is make the line more even. And okay, now I'm just going out a lot, it's up to you if you want to do this or you want to make that less angled, it's up to you. And this is my take on how you do a thick black eye liner.
