How To Apply White Eyeshadow

Hi. Now, I'm going to show you how to apply white eye shadows to create quite a funky look. First of all, you apply your eye primer.

Very important because this is going to give depth to your makeup and keep your eye shadow stay on all day. So, this is a must-have product, you have to use a makeup primer and lots of different brands do them. So for this makeup, you apply it all over the eyelid because we're going to use the white all over the eyelid and also going to use a little bit under the eyes because I'm going to use the white eye shadow under the eyes as well.

You can apply your eye makeup primer with your fingers or you can apply it with a little brush. Now, I'm going to take quite a wide brush and I'm going to apply some white eye shadow and take quite a lot and apply the white eye shadow all over the lid. The secret to good makeup is to layer products so don't be afraid of putting quite a few if you could, quite a few layers.

Okay, so I'm using a lot of brush here because I'm working on the whole eyelid and make sure that I'm working in the inner corner and all the way to the brow. So, that's my first layer but then I'm going to use another white from another palette of colours so it's going to be a slightly different white and with this white which is a little bit more intense, I'm going to work more on the top lid. So, you can see the difference already and makeup is becoming a bit more intense, so just on the top lid this time, and I'm now going to take a little brush, so a rounded little brush, and with that rounded little brush and my white, I'm going to go right on the inner corner of the eye, so those eyes, and I'm also going to go under the eyes.

You can use the same brush because I want quite a lot of eye shadow here and all the way. So, you can see that my white is quite shimmery with a hint of gold as well which is really pretty. What I'm going to do now is use a little bit of glitter white.

That's just the powder but it's going to make my makeup a bit more interesting and I'm just going again not all the way onto the lid but just in the middle to create a little bit of sparkle in the shape of my eyelid. Okay, I'm going to take the white pencil and go inside the eyes, so all along the length of the eye, and nicely on the inner corner and also with that pencil going to go along the lashes just to finish the look to make sure there's no white, there's no skin showing. So, I'm also going to use the pencil right under the eye, okay, and I'm going to finish the look with quite a lot of black mascara.
