How To Arrange A Calla Lily Bouquet

Hi. My name is Alexandra Lyons and I'm a master florist. I create floral displays for celebrity homes, events, weddings and special occasions.

I'm going to share some tips with you on flower arranging. I'm going to show you how to arrange a Calla Lily bouquet. I've put some lovely pink Calla Lilies here.

Arrange them in a little circle around the center. So, you place on straight one in the middle and then slightly lower down at the same height. Make sure the flowers are the same height on the next row down.

Place another one here and do another row. So, in between, place another one in between like so. There we go.

I'm just going to add some leaves. I'm just going to go and pick some leaves up. These are fancier leaves.

I'm going to put a nice collar around. Use Leaf Shine on these. It doesn't damage the flowers or the plants.

It gives them a nice glossy coat. Sounds like a dog, doesn't it, nice glossy coat? We're just going to place those. I'm putting them in at an angle so they sit flush with the flowers like so.

I'm just going to put some wire around this at the bind point to hold it all in place. This is aluminum wire. It should be available from your local florist.

The wire is quite nice to look at so I'm not going to cover it up. In fact, I'm going to wire some all the way down the stem. So, let's let it go.

Arranging flowers is quite fiddly, if you're quite good with your hands. This will hold all the stems in place because I want to keep them straight. I'm just being firm on there without cutting in.

It's sticking out a little. It's all in the detail. It makes a big difference especially with a simple design like this.

I'm just going to cut the bottoms. There we go. And this is how to do a Calla Lily bouquet. .
