Step 2: Get Yourself Connected

You will need an iPod, a USB connector cable or dock and a computer with iTunes software on it. Plug one end of your USB connector cable or dock into the bottom of your iPod and the other end into an empty USB port on your computer.

Step 3: Let iTunes Do The Work

As soon as you plug your USB cable or dock into your computer, iTunes will open automatically.
At the top of the iTunes screen, you will see that your songs are Auto-Syncing, and a "Do Not Disconnect" symbol will flash on your iPod screen.

Step 4: The Big Disconnect

When iTunes has completed the Auto-Sync process, the "Do Not Disconnect" symbol will stop flashing on your iPod display.
Your iPod display may also return to the Main Menu, depending on which version of iTunes software you are using.
The best way to make sure it's safe to disconnect your iPod is to click on the Eject button in the lower right hand corner of the iTunes window.
Now, unplug your iPod and enjoy your music!
