In this video, you'll see me do a back flip on a BMX bike. Okay, step one. When you're doing a back flip, you'll be upside down so you need to make sure that initial rotation goes round.

To do that, obviously, if you imagine the transition of the ramp, you need to, especially when you need to follow sort of the momentum and the transition of the ramp just to the deck, so you don't travel too far. So as you go on, you feel your front wheel, just bounce off the top of the ramp and you need to throw your head back and look at the way you came, so as you go back, throw your head back, and then as you're upside down, you can feel your back go round, look again for the landing. So, you're looking twice.

You throw your head back to start the momentum, look the way you came, and then second look, you're looking for your landing, so while you're upside down, you can be spotting your landing, so throw your head again just to make sure you get around, so the worst you can do is land on your head. Okay, step two. You've come around now, you've spotted your landing, you need to land, so obviously your legs, there are your springs, when you come around, you need to be ready, keep your legs extended, not straight.

It's dangerous if your legs are fully extended, but keep them slightly bent, as you feel the wheels hit the floor absorb it like a big spring. If you spin a bit too much and you have to break, just land, pull your break, you'll be fine. If you're coming a little bit short, you can always pull your bars in so as you come around, so if the ramps go here, you can always just hook it in and that will spin the rotation round and hopefully land you back on the other side.

And that's how to do a back flip on a BMX bike. .
