I'm going to introduce you to wildcat backflips. Basically, with respect to the backflip, you want to have tested the jump first so you know how fast to go for it. Make sure you're landing nice and deep in the landing.

And then, I always think just add a little bit extra in for luck. And then, when you are running in for a backflip, the beauty of a backflip is you can approach it completely straight. You don't have to worry about which edge you're taking off.

It is a flat base. So, run in with the speed, get nice and low as you are reaching the lip of the kicker, make sure you pop with through feet looking backwards over your head and then once you've popped and initiated that rotation, just keep looking, chill, wait until you see your landing, and land right away. Simple as that! It's one of the easiest tricks; it's just a bit it takes to try it.

An alternative to the wildcat backflip is the laid-out backflip. This is pretty much a different way of doing it. But, still, it's just as fun and just as great to do on the mountain on the jumps and that.

When it comes to doing a laid-out backflip, sort of a bout testing your jump first, making sure you have enough speed, enough pop to be able to whip that around and have enough time to lay out in the air because if you don't, you are just going to under-rotate it. First of all, as I said, just take a few of practice jumps, go big, get a few grabs in there. And when it comes to doing the laid-out backflip, you can practice a few wildcats if you're comfortable with those first.

And with the laid-out backflip, it's all about opening up your shoulders, getting really low. As you enter their jump, popping as high as you can, leaning back, opening up your shoulders, and just doing the slowest backflip you can, you're going to get about three-quarters of the way through the flip and you're going to be able to see your landing from there. You bring in your knees, spot that landing, keep your shoulders parallel, and just ride away clean.

And that's how to do a backflip on a snowboard. .
