How To Backup PSP Games To Computer

Step 1: Configuration

Fully shut your PSP off, by pushing and holding the power switch up until the screen shuts off. Then, with the R trigger pressed, turn the PSP on. For those who don`t know, this is your "Recovery Menu". With the D-pad navigate to "Configuration", then "XMB USB Device" and press X, until, in the brackets, shows "UMD Disc". Exit Recovery Menu by pressing "Triangle", then X. Now navigate to "Exit", then press X.

Step 2: Transfer

When your XMB loads, plug your PSP to your Computer via USB. Under Settings, select USB Connection. Open your PSP`s location on your computer and drag and drop the only file to your desired "Backup Folder"

Step 3: Restoring

Change your XMB USB Device, through the Recovery Menu by higlighting "XMB USB Device" and pressing X until Memory Stick appears.

You now have a copy of your game! You can now drag and drop this ISO file to your PSP`s ISO folder at the root of your Mem Stick to let you play this game without disc inserted! You can access this game on your PSP by going to "Memory Stick" under Games category in XMB.
