Ingredients

  • 4 large prawns

Prepare your barbecue with all the coals pushed to one side, this way you will have an area to keep food warm, and be able to control the temperature.

Place the prawns on the hot part of the barbecue.

The prawns will change colour from grey to pink when they are cooked. Turn your prawns and move them around the barbecue so they get cooked evenly. They should only take a few minutes to cook, but the time depends on the size of your prawns and the heat of the barbecue.

Serve with a little lemon juice, or some cooked garlic and butter.
