How To Be Sexy During Winter
Staying warm and being sexy can happen simultaneously. Winter months can be brutal. Look good from head to toe with these helpful tips.
Step 1: Start With The Skin
Dry skin and hair are not sexy. Apply lotion morning, noon and night. Avoid hot showers; they will strip moisture from the skin and leave it looking thirsty. Wash your hair no more than every other day and use a leave-in or deep conditioner. Finally, don't lick your lips; instead create a sexy pout with lip balm or moisturizing lipstick. Try products with shea butter, olive or coconut moisture for ultimate moisture.
Step 2: Sexy Secrets
Especially if you like to completely cover up in the cold months, wearing sexy underwear will make you feel sexy, no matter what you have on. So go for the red lace and rock it from the inside out.
Step 3: Sun-kissed
Let's be honest here. Pale, goose bumpy skin is not sexy. Nothing's wrong with a little fake baking if done in moderation. And because tan lines aren't so sexy, make sure you take it all off.
Step 4: Foxy Figure
Your winter wardrobe doesn't have to be as bulky as Costco. Layering is good but keep it thin. Try a long-sleeve fine-knit top under a vest, and then add a cashmere cardigan and a cool, trendy coat. Don't be scared to add warm accessories. Scarves are a great addition to any outfit. High-heeled boots add to the sexy factor, as long as you can walk in them without looking like a catwalk disaster.
Step 5: It's Go Time
Maintaining this look in winter isn't a walk in the park. Make sure you leave the house prepared. Hand cream will keep your feelers soft and touchable. Lip balm or chap stick is a must. Tissue can save you from an embarrassing runny nose and if you blow often, tinted moisturizer can be a good refresher and keep you from looking like Rudolph.
Tips & Comments
Some of this advice is good, but I'd prefer being pale and warm in a big coat than have an orange-baked skin colour and being freezing cold. Also, high heels on a slippy, icy ground = big no-no!
yeah, im pale and i love it! i only tan in summer.
wow pale skin looks awesome in winter. keeping your natural colour is best
Sorry but it gets to -30 or lower here. Frostbite is not sexy, I'm bundling up.
i love her purple top what is that style called?
Despite what they say, tanning beds are not safe for your skin. They can cause skin cancer just like UV radiation from the sun can. Only artificial tanning is safe. The problems of premature ageing of skin and skin cancer will take decades to appear, so it's hard to take the skin protection advice to heart when we're young.
They are not saying snow skin is bad. They said "Pale goosebumpy skin is not sexy." Not Snow white skin! Listen Up ppl!
I'm with the other pale people on this. Despite being a registered Cherokee, I can NOT keep a tan, no matter what I do. I used to try tanning beds, but the tan lasted for about eight hours then faded. Then I discovered that a lot of boys, particularly my sweetheart, actually liked my pale skin. Apparently being baked to a crisp isn't attractive to everyone. I used to know a guy who tanned so much he turned orange...he looked terrible. Ironically that's how most tanners turn out, from my experiences. If the person you wanna be with really cares all that much about how dark and baked your skin is, they probably aren't the person for you. There's really no reason to expose yourself to possible skin cancer (which is disgusting when you get it, thus ruining all your efforts of looking good) just for a few dates.
I agree, I love my pale skin as well. Tan isn't always a good look, if I'm honest. xxx
it's all about Layers!!
