Nearly half of the adults in the US are legally single, and many say they're happy. But Valentine's Day can still be a single's worst nightmare. We got some answers on our night out at a pre-Valentine's social mixer in Beverly Hills, CA.
Most of the singles we talked to were satisfied with their single status, at least for now. They're out dating, but remain patient in their hopes of finding "the one". Singles' plans for Valentine's Day include everything from spending time with their pets to indulging in wine and chocolate to shaking their groove thing. Don't get down when planning for the big night. Realize that Valentine's Day is about all kinds of love, not just the romantic kind. Do something nice for yourself, have a girls' night out or do dinner with the family. There's always next year to do it differently.
