How To Become A Nude Model

Hi, my name is Renee Barca, I work at IMN modelling agency. I'm going to speak to you about how the modelling industry works. I'm going to explain to you how to be a nude model.

The most important thing about being a nude model is to be very confident in your body, and not to be shy. There's nothing more annoying for a photographer who's about to shoot a nude male or female and then just as they're about to hit the button, the model shies away. You need to be very confident in this sort of modelling, because obviously, everybody is going to be seeing you naked.

These shots are very beautiful though, and I think that's the one thing you should just keep in mind whilst having these pictures done is that it's not going to be anything too bad. Now, to be a nude model, you obviously need to have very good skin because all of your skin is going to be shown. You need to have an all-over tan because tan lines are not very attractive or sexy.

Also, tan lines are horrible for the retoucher to try and touch up a little bit later on, so the better the tan you have, the better it will be for the final product as well. You also need to have a good shape to be a nude model. You can't be too slim because obviously, you'll see your ribs and things like this, and that's not attractive at all.

There's no specific measurements for nude modeling, but if you want to do more along the route of page 3 and lads mags, then obviously, you'll need to have a bigger bust for those. A lot of people think that having enhanced breasts will be good for this, and actually it works against you, nobody likes fake breasts when it comes to nude modelling, so the more natural you are, the better. Long hair is also a positive in nude modelling because sometimes a photographer likes to use your hair in covering certain parts of your body, if they're trying to do implied nudity, which includes things like covering up your breasts or covering up your bottom or things like this.
