Now you've probably had the Xbox 360 or the PS3 since it came out and you probably got a PC that's set up with the latest graphics card, oodles of memory and a screen that's about the size of a house, but you're thinking to yourself, “Well now, I play games all day long, I should get paid for doing this” and in that case, you want to become a pro gamer, but it's not an easy task, that's for sure. You need dedication, you need to practice, you need to get very skilled at individual games and once you get yourself a name within the game's community as a good gamer, then you probably could then look to perhaps participate in leagues. Now these gaming leagues tend to be somewhere in the U.

S. or Korea where people get paid to become a gamer. Another thing to consider also is whether you can get a sponsorship from individual games developers to sponsor you to play certain games in tournaments but again you need to get very very good at these particular games and get yourself a name out there when you're playing these individual games either against other people or other teams.

If you can get really really good and get a name for yourself, that's the first step on again becoming a pro gamer, and that's how you become a pro gamer. .
