In this particular video, I'm going to talk about how to become fit. There are numerous ways to how to become fit because there are numerous definitions about what being fit actually is. Because my background is endurance sport, I'm going to talk about how you become fit at an endurance level.

It's about building it up very slowly, from a very basic level of maybe 10 minutes a day, whether it be cycling, swimming, running, rowing whatever the sport is you're aiming to do. Just slowly building it up into half an hour, 45 minutes, a hour, 2 hours, 3 hours, you're going to have to start incorporating food, incorporating the sleep, everything ends up having a direct effect on how you're performing. In order to get fit, it's just a matter of plugging away, finding what you enjoy doing and just slowly building it up.

It's about building it up any way that you can, doing any kind of activity that you enjoy. Fitness for endurance is purely about how long you can go for, it might be for a game of football with your 5-year-old, it might be to run a marathon, it might be to run 200 miles. It's whatever you're gauge is, it just takes time doing lots and lots of exercise in little chunks and just slowly building it up.

If you do it that way, I can guarantee you, in my eyes, you will end up becoming fit. And that is how you become fit.
