Hi. Today, I am going to show you how to blend smokey eye shadow. Now, you need two brushes for this technique, a flat brush to pick up the eye shadow and apply it, and then your key tool to blend the smokey eye shadow is this fluffy tapered brush.

Pick up the eye shadow by pressing the brush into the eye shadow, tap off the excess, pull the eyelid taut, and then press the eye shadow into the eyelid area, pressing gently so you get an even coating of eye shadow across the whole of the eyelid. This can be a medium tone. Then we are going to go for our darker smokey eye shadow look.

Then using the same brush or a different brush if you are going to go for a really different look, apply the eye shadow to the brush by pressing it in gently. Tap off the excess, pull the eyelid taut, and for the smokey area, you are going to press this into this outer corner here. Press it in gently, in sort of like a V area.

Press it all along the crease bone, and this is creating your smokey shade. You can drag it out if you want or just keep it quite small and rounded like I am. Then with your fluffy brush, you are just going to blend this posh edge into the skin in small circular motions, then back and forth.

You can take it as high up as you like or drag it out as much as you like. I am just going to keep it just along the crease area, and just gently above to blend it together. So you apply the eye shadow with this flat applicator brush, and then you use this fluffy brush to blend in the eye shadow into either the skin or another eye shadow.

And that is how to blend smokey eye shadows. .
