How To Blog Through Word 2007
Whether you're blogging through Blogger or Wordpress or any one of half a dozen different blogging platforms, Word '07 has the prowess to make everything almost outrageously simple.
If you're smart, you'll be writing your blogs offline in Word anyway, because that way it looks like you're doing work and not just perpetually updating your own online ranting platform. Now you can actually publish them through Word, too, meaning you never have to leave the security of its warm, inviting, familiar embrace. The whole thing takes a matter of seconds, it's the future.
Step 1: Write your blog
Make sure your blog's not rubbish! Watch VideoJug's “How to make sure your blog isn't completely rubbish” just to be on the safe side.
Type in all the words you want to be in your blog, as per usual by pushing down the letters on your keyboard so as to form words. This process really is deceptively simple, you'll master it in no time.
Step 2: Publish!
It's under the round colourful Office button at the top left. Clicky clicky. ‘Publish', then ‘Blog' You'll need to fill in all your details, and Word will change your document to Blog style with a title and that sort of thing, so make sure it's all in the right place.
You'll need to register your account, which means plugging in your blog's URL, and your login details into the little box.
It'll even cope with pictures for you, just select whether you're hosting them yourself, or if the blog people are for you under Picture Options.
