How To Boost Your Car Battery With Wine

Here is a simple trick to use with red wine if your car battery is low on charge. Here is a simple trick to use with red wine if your car battery is low on charge.

Step 1: The Problem

Have you ever been sitting around just having a nice glass of Fat Bastard Wine with your cat, and you go out to start your car and nothing? Well, unless you have a maintenance free battery, you have to pay attention to the battery levels. If you let them get too low, your cells will drain and your car will not start.

Step 2: The Experiment

I discovered that using red wine can actually charge your battery, so let's check it out. Testing this battery, we see the voltages are pretty low and there is not enough juice to start the car. So we're going to pop our battery caps off and use a funnel to pour in the red wine. You may not have a funnel, but you can make one easily out of a piece of paper and then gently pour a little Fat Bastard Wine in each of your battery cells.

Step 3: The Result

Because red wine is an acidic liquid, it allows the electrons to flow freely between the negative and positive terminals providing enough energy to start the car. So a few minutes later, it's Fat Bastard Wine to the rescue.

Because gin bourbon and whisky aren't acidic. I guess you could also use lemon juice or vinegar or some such.
