If she was sleeping around or something worse -I wouldn't give her any time of the day. Also guys - be careful, your sweet little girlfriend will turn into a monster when she hears your breaking up intention. If your partner has been abusive or may have an inappropriately extreme reaction to the breakup, it's perfectly fine to break up over the phone (or even by e-mail if the person is likely to be verbally abusive, etc.). It's best to do it in person, but you need to protect your own emotional and physical well-being as well.
