How To Brine A Turkey

With the holidays on the way, you may be looking for a different way to prepare chicken or turkey. Matt from the Underground Cookery School shows you the process of brining chicken or turkey using water, salt, and sugar.

Ingredients

  • 1 turkey fillet, slices
  • sugar
  • salt

Method

Make your brine by mixing together equal quantities of sugar, salt and water. You might need to add a little more water to get the desired consistency. Mix the brine and leave for about 2-3 minutes until the sugar and salt have dissolved.

Place your turkey fillet in the brine, cover with cling film and leave for 24 hours in the fridge.
