How To Build Muscle Mass

Many people think that in order to get great bodies, you have to lift weights or be at a gym to use the most up-to-date workout machine. In this video, you will be shown 3 examples of how you can build muscle mass right in your own living room.

In this video, I'm going to show you how to build muscle mass. Now, most people think that in order to build muscle mass, you need to live in a gym. You don't, you can train at home and still get the benefits if you train effectively.

Most importantly, to train at home is to do compound movements. That means doing more than one muscle group at a time. I'm now going to demonstrate 3 exercises which work the entire body and build muscle mass.

First, you have inclined press-ups. Press-ups build mass in your chest, arms and shoulders, your abs and back also strengthen. Now, a normal press-up is a bit to easy for people.

Put your feet up high and more weight for arms and it is much harder. You notice my body is flat, not dipping, my bum is not out, everything is straight. The next exercise we are going to do is the one legged squat.

You want to hold on to something or else it is too much of a balance exercise. Put your foot forward, one out and slowly go down, slowly come up. Slowly go down, slowly come up.

If you're advanced, you can do it without holding on but you need to be quite strong to do that. The final exercise I'm going to show you today is the pull-up. The pull-up works your arms, particularly the front of your arms, your shoulders and your back.

Grab a bar, there are lots of different ways of gripping it. If you haven't done this before, I would go for this grip. It's called the close grip and it is the easiest one to do.

Let yourself hang and slowly pull up. Very difficult exercise, if you can get one, it is worthwhile doing it. That was just 3 examples of exercises you can do to build mass and you can do them anywhere, at a gym or at home. .
