In this video, I'm going to talk to you about how to build muscle size. Now, when we're trying to build muscle size, it's important to choose the right exercises, but also to do them the right way. That means correct form and also the right weight.

Now, if we take this exercise, using a power bag, I'm going to do a dead lift. This is a dead lift. My technique's good; it's a good choice of exercise, working the whole body, but for me, ten kilos is too light.

It's not going to make any difference to me. Twenty kilos for me, because I only weigh about sixty-five kilos, that's quite hard. That's tougher.

Same exercise, same technique, but a heavier weight. This will build muscle size. It's always important to remember, do the right exercise, do it the right way, but choose the right weight.

Always make it challenging. If you can't, do more than a few reps, it's too heavy. If you do more than twenty repetitions, it's too light.

Go somewhere in between. Another exercise we can show you: the shoulder press. Again, it's a great exercise in developing strength in your shoulders, a little bit, your chest, arms, and upper back.

But again, ten kilos for me, even though my form's great, doesn't make any difference. Twenty kilos is a lot tougher. Now, when you're lifting heavy weights, if you see, my back's beginning to arch.

That's bad. So, I put a foot back, I stabilize my back, so I'm stronger. So much better.

You choose a weight which is difficult for you and then your body will adapt and you'll get stronger. And that's the key tip to remember when trying to build muscle size. .
