How To Burn A DVD On A Mac
How To Burn A Data CD Or DVD On A Mac: Losing documents and files can be a horrible nightmare. Fortunately, it is an entirely avoidable one. Macs make burning files onto DVD a simple process. VideoJug will show you how to burn a data CD or DVD on a Mac.
Step 1: Load It Up
Insert a blank DVD-R or CD- R. A typical DVD holds 4 and one half gigabytes of information, while a typical CD-R holds 700 MB of information.
Step 2: Create a Folder
Right click or hold down control and click on any empty space on your desktop. Select "New Burn Folder" from the drop down menu
Step 3: Go Get 'Em
Locate the files you wish to copy and drag them into your burn folder…Don't worry about misplacing them...the computer doesn't actually move them, it just creates an "alias" which points the burn folder to the file you wish to burn.
Step 4: Burn it
Open up your burn folder and click the "Burn" button.
There you have it. In just a few minutes you'll have the data backed up, files to share, or a little less virtual clutter on your hard drive.

To get higher quality you may use a Double Layer DVD (if your Mac has a DL super drive) or you can split the video into two parts. Software that may help you a lot on DVD burning is DVD Creator for Mac, which can easily convert various video files to DVD on Mac without losing quality. http://www.aimersoft-mac.com/dvd-creator-mac.html#131
Nice tutorial, it's useful to me. But it seems the guide doesn't work for DVD ISO file. I used to burn DVD ISO with this DVD creator, it works pretty well for me. http://www.mac-dvd.com/mac-dvd-copy.html
