If you're looking to burn fat around your belly, around here, there are two things you need to do. As always, you look at your nutrition and you look at your training. Nutrition, as many of you all know, is eating clean healthy food most of the time.
Have one day off a week where you do what you want, six days a week, eat good, eat small meals a day, maybe 5 or 6 small meals, high protein, low carb, low fats, no sugar, less alcohol, all that kind of stuff. Now, in terms of training, I'd always recommend doing something that gets your heart rate up and also tones. This has been shown to get much, much faster results than just doing one or the other.
I'm going to show you a little kind of military style circuit you can do in a gym or at home if you have dumbbells. I'll show you first, then we'll explain it. What I was doing, as you can see, I'm getting out of breath, I'm using my entire body, I'm jumping forward and back.
I'm doing press ups and I'm doing bent over rows. Hard exercise, I was working my entire body. My hearts working hard, pumping blood to my legs and to my arms, my lungs are working hard, I'm out of breath, and all my muscles are working, my legs, my arms, my chest, my abs are all working together.
An exercise like that, do for long as you can, maybe a minute, maybe two minutes, have a rest, do it again, have a rest, do it again. Doing that for 15, 20 minutes is an amazing workout, much better than just going for a fast walk or even a slow jog for an hour, much more effective. So, if you're looking to lose belly fat, look at nutrition and train effectively.
