Make sure the car you are looking at really exists. There are scams out there which features used cars which really aren't for sale. Have the seller send you additional photos for verification.

Step 3: Get Authorization

Once you find the car you're interested in, contact the website. They will put you in touch with a local authorized dealer.

If you can't have your personal mechanic inspect the vehicle because it is located out of town, you can arrange to have a mechanic in the seller's neighborhood inspect the vehicle for potential problems.
