How To Decide What Kind Of Mixer Is Best For You. A cupcake expert provides detailed information on the best mixer's in the market, and which one might be right for you.
Hi there, I'm Lizzie welcome to the Cupcake Emporium here in Lancaster Gate, London. We've been making cupcakes here for a year and a half now and we're proud to have some of the biggest cupcakes in London, which are also really low calorie. A high-end mixer like this will probably set you back £200 - £300, but they are worth it if you are going to be doing daily baking.
They're very tough and do the job very well. However, if you're just an occasional baker you may want to invest in just a small hand-held whisk. They will cost you probably between £5 and £30 these days.
If you are using a hand-held whisk make sure that you're using the mixing arm not the whisking arm because obviously the whisking arm isn't as strong and as durable as the mixing one. So make sure you don't mix with a hand-held mixer for longer than about five minutes just because with the frosting; if you're mixing for a long time, then they just might overheat a little bit. But it's fine to just set it aside and come back to it in a couple of minutes it won't ruin your baking. .
