Pokemon is one of the most famous franchises in the world, especially when it comes to trading cards. People all over the world collect the cards, searching for more and better Pokemon. Are you looking for that elusive Pokemon, but you just can't find it? This video will show you how to find that rare card which keeps escaping you.

I've been playing Pokemon for over 10 years, and yes, I have caught them all. In this video I'm going to teach you how to buy Pokemon cards. Now, you may think: "Well, that's easy, I go into a shop, I buy some over the counter.
" Now, to an extent, that is true, but there are many different types of Pokemon cards that you can actually buy, so we are gonna run through a few of the different ones you can actually get. In order to play the trading card game, you require a deck of 60 cards and the best way to get these is from the theme decks. This is one of the theme decks from the latest set.
Now, the inside of this box contains 60 cards, all the cards you need in order to start playing the Pokemon trading card game. It also has a rulebook, some damage counters, a coin and the play mat. So it really does contain everything you do need to start playing the game.
These theme decks are also a great source of energy cards, which are vital for playing the game, but don't come up so much from booster packs, which I will show you now. Booster packs, like these,are small little packs of 10 cards each. All of these have 10 cards in them and all of these have the same quantity of common, uncommon and rare cards within them.
However, the exact cards that are contained in the booster pack are random, unlike the theme decks which have always the same cards in each theme deck, which are displayed on the back. These booster packs are a great source of getting other cards from the set that aren't in the theme decks, along with getting multiples of the same card that you may want in your own deck. Lastly, you've got these promotional boxes.
Now these boxes contain one promotional card, which you can see on the front, along with a couple of random booster packs. There are also variations on this, called the blister packs, which are flat and also contain a promo card and a couple of random booster packs. Now the only card you're guaranteed to get is the one displayed on the front.
The cards inside the booster packs however, are random, just like buying any other booster pack from a shop. So that's a few of the types of cards you can buy. If you're looking for a single card however, you can look on either eBay or perhaps a special online card shop that supplies these cards in singles, otherwise, you're going to have to hope for it. .
