How To Calculate A Bowling Handicap

Hi, my name is Sam and I've been a bowler for twenty years and today, we're here at Rowan's Finsbury Park and today, I'll be showing you how to bowl. How to calculate a bowling handicap? When joining a league for the very first time, you'll probably find you're left to bob on nine games to get your bowling handicap and your average. Generally, all your scores are put into a computer where your handicap is calculated.

You'll probably find that your league will have a base average and depending what your average is, a percentage of that will work out your handicap. Your handicap is calculated much like golf. The better the player, the less handicap you have.

So it doesn't matter if you're not that great, you'll still have a higher handicap to catch up with everybody else. As in golf or any other sport, the more you play, the more consistent you'll get. You'll probably see your average go up and your handicap go down. .
