One thing that can help settle your cat's tummy is to give it some boiled rice, some boiled chicken or boiled fish. Small portions three to four times a day can really help to settle that stomach. Make sure your cat has plenty of water to keep your cat nice and hydrated.
The last thing you want is your cat to become dehydrated. Make sure that area's nice and clean. Use baby wipes or from your local pet store or vet, you can get some wet wipes which you can clean the area with.
Make sure you do this really gently as this can be a sore area. This can be a really uncomfortable time for your cat and can cause your cat a lot of discomfort. The cat may be in a lot of discomfort so please go and consult your vet.
