In the film it says that gerbils are not really a pet to be cuddled but i cuddle mine all the time and they love it! Also they are really friendly and mine have never biten anyone since i first got them. they are great with children, i'm 13 and i love them also whenever any small kid holds them they always behave themselves and they are just the greatist.
