Your little person's skin is much more sensitive than yours, so you'll want to make sure they're comfortable at all times. Persil Non-Bio and Comfort Pure have teamed up with health visitor Dawn Kelly to tell you how to keep their skin in tip top condition.
Step 1: Practical Baby Clothes
So what's practical for babies to wear in the early months?
What she's currently wearing is actually really good, because it's quite practical for summer months. In the evening in summer you might just wear a slip suit. Just make sure these are nice and big for her and don't scrunch up her toes.
Step 2: Clothes Washing
And obviously you would wash these in non-biological washing powder and hypo-allergenic fabric conditioner.
Step 3: Babies Temperature
So how would I know if she's too hot or too cold?
The best way, to be honest, is to feel their tummies. That's not always easily accessible. The next best way really is just to feel the back of her neck, just here, and that should just feel a nice temperature. The hands and feet are often really cold. They've not got a great circulation when they are tiny, so it's a good idea again to maybe put mittens on, or socks on. Don't be tempted to put another blanket on necessarily, because that just overheats them.
