How To Catch Heatran

In this video, I am going to tell how to get a Heatran. Heatran is number 485 in the National Pokedex and is a lava dome Pokemon. It is a fire and steel type and is capture-able in diamond, pearl and platinum versions.

So, in order to capture Heatran, the process is actually quite long-winded, but very simple. First of all, go to Stark Mountain. Once there, you'll be met up with an NPC who will follow you around and actually assist you in battle.

Upon arriving in a certain section of this place, you will be joined by an NPC, a non-playable character, that will follow you and assist you in battle. Upon reaching a certain destination, he'll take an item from the floor and go away. If you follow that person back to the battle field area, he'll hand that item that he took and ask that you put it back.

Go back to where he picked up the item in the first place, this time on your own, and Heatran will appear. This is where you can capture it. So, in summary, first head to Stark Mountain and enter until you find an NPC character who follows you around.

Travel around with him until he picks up an item from the floor. Once he does, head back to the battle field area to meet up with him and take the item from him. Then head back to where he picked it up from originally, inside Stark Mountain, and there you will encounter Heatran.
