How To Change A Computer's Name

Step 1: Back up all files and settings

Step 2: Click on Start

Click on Start

Step 3: Click on My Computer

Click on My Computer

Step 4: The System Properties box

In the window Right click and select Properties

The System Properties box should pop-up.

Step 5: Select the Computer Name Tab

Select the Computer Name Tab
Near the bottom click the Change button
Enter the new Computer Name

Step 6: Finnish Off

Click OK
Then Click OK to close the System Properties box
Re-boot.
