How to change the FrontPage or Expression Web default directory.
When you open the Open Page dialog box it goes to a default folder.
To this default folder you have to change a registry key.

Save a file first

NOTE: You will have to have use FrontPage to create a small file and save it first.

Registry Edit

Start>Run>regedit

Values to change

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\FrontPage\Explorer\FrontPage Explorer\Settings
Modify the DefaultWebName to any folder path you want to be the default instead.
Click OK and close the regedit window.

Expression Web change default directory

When you open the Open Page dialog box, it does default to My Webs,
unlike the Open Web dialog box that defaults to the last open web directory you opened.
To change that, you have to change a registry key
