How to replace your grill element:

Hi, welcome to Apart4U. This video tutorial is on how to replace your grill element in a Bosch and Neff. This is an example and all work should be done by a qualified electrician.

Step 2:

Disconnect from the electricity
-
Right, the first thing that needs to be done is the appliance removed, disconnected from the electricity and I will remove the back later. I have undone the screws earlier. So I will just show you where they are briefly.

Step 3:

Peel the insulation back
-
Right, now you need to peel the insulation back and this will give you access to the two screws. Then you would need to remove the wiring, marking up where you are actually taking the wires from. I will just remove them here.

Step 4:

Remove the light cover

Right, now we are actually going to remove the element. But first I am going to remove the light cover and the bulb and safety.

Step 5:

Wiggle the element out
-
Now with these removed and once we undo the screws, the self-clean plate which is on top of the element will be loose as well as the element. It doesn't matter if it falls down. Those two screws actually go through the self-cleaning plate. As you can see the cover is loose. Just hold the cover up, wiggle the element out, and there we go.

Reverse to re-fit.
