Step 1:

Disconnect electricity

Hi, welcome to "A Part for You". This video tutorial is on how to replace your grill and element in a Bosch and Neff. This is an example and all work should be done by a qualified electrician.

Right, the first thing that needs to be done is the appliance removed, disconnected from the electricity.

Step 2:

Remove back plate.

And now we'll remove the back plate. I've undone the screws earlier. So I'm just showing where they are roughly.

Step 3:

Peel insulation back.

Now you need to peel the insulation back. This will give you access to the two screws.

Step 4:

Remove wiring.

Then you would need to remove the wiring, marking up where you're actually taking the wires from. I'll just remove them here.

Step 5:

Remove light cover and bulb.

Now we're going to actually remove the element. But first, I'm going to remove the light cover and the bulb for safety.

Step 6:

Remove cleaning plate & element.

Now with these removed and once we undo the screws, the self cleaning plate which is at the top of the oven, will be loose as well as the element. So, it doesn't matter if it falls down. Those two screws actually go through the self cleaning plate. As you can see, the cover is loose. Just hold the cover, wiggle the element out and there we go.
