How To Choose A Boy's Hairstyle

The first thing you need to do in choosing a boy's hairstyle is to take time and do a bit of research. Maybe look online or get some magazine and cut a few hairstyles up. You can print them off online.

Probably the best thing to do is to take them into the barber shop and show them to the barber that the pictures, maybe some two or three different pictures, and then, you know, explain to them that this is the kind of style you are thinking about. And then, they will advise on that and tell that this style is good for your kid or the hair is too long or this one won't work. Best thing probably to do is to find a decent barber shop and do research and go in and ask them questions.

And that is a good barber; they will be able to help you out. Another important thing that you should really think about is to look at the face shape of your child. If your child has got quite a round or chubby face, probably best if you choose a style, probably pie it on the side and kind of crossed over or turn over if he really has a square face.

Probably, the best style would be to be text it on the top, short, messy. What you really want to be looking at is to complement your child's features. Another thing, he would have got really big ears that stick out, maybe sort of a style that covers the ears a little bit.

If your kid has got slightly big ears, which some kids have, it's probably best to style slightly hang a little bit which will cover them. Another thing, well, if your child has got quite a long face, it's probably best not to have a quite high hair style on top which accentuates the longest of his face and to keep that quite short and flat to the head on the top. Another thing you might want to think about is the texture of your child's hair.

If it's quite unruly and curly, probably the best thing to do is to keep it short, maybe a clipper cut or something like that. Alternatively as well, if he has got quite flat sort of straight hair, maybe ask the barber to put a little bit if texture to it which will give it a little bit of movement on the top that won't lie flat to his head. Another thing you want to think about is the maintenance of the kid's hair.

If he has got quite long hair, it's going to need a lot of washing and it's going to tangle up. And the kids don't like to open the hair and wash it too much. If he is going to be styling it quite a lot, you got time to do that in the morning, you will not be doing that, okay.

And that's how to choose a boy's hairstyle.
