How To Choose A Pilates Magic Circle (Pilates Ring)

This very informative VideoJug film will help you to decide on what Pilates ring is right for you. So watch this video and choose your very own Pilates Magic Circle.

I'm going to show you how to choose a Magic Circle.
There are lots of things to take into consideration. There's the actual weight of it - some are much heavier than others. There's the durability of it - some are much stronger than others. There's the comfort and there's the price.
This is my favorite one. This is called the Ultra Fit Circle. It's very comfortable. Make sure that you don't press hard ever with these rings, just gently. It's nice and spongy. That retails for $34, and it's very light to carry around. If you are a studio owner, it may not last for very long if you have a lot of people using it.
This is called the Flex Ring Toner. This is $45 plus $12 if you want the little pads that make it more comfortable that fit on the edge. You can, however, use some socks! If you're going to have it between your legs, between your knees, then that's going to be a lot more comfortable than having the hard iron. It's more expensive than the other one and it's quite heavy. However, it will last you a long time if you are a gym owner. There's one other and this is the authentic Joseph Pilates Spring Circle; it's $70. That's even more crude, robust, quite heavy as well.
It's not just the carrying around of the circle, it's also if you're performing exercises and lifting it up and having to use your core to keep it very balanced, it can be very difficult if you've got a heavy circle.
If you'd like to get these from The States, there's a very good website, 'The Balanced Body' website.
That's www.pilates.com.

They have some great equipment and I think it's worth spending the extra time and money if you're not living in The States.
