How To Choose A Short Dress

Plenty of women always wonder, “Can I wear a short dress? Have I got the legs to wear them?” and the answer is yes. You've just got to really be realistic and think quite carefully about the shape of your legs. Firstly, when it comes to short dresses, I've said this before but the most flattering length for any woman, buy a hemline ending on the knee.

It's a natural break in the leg for avoiding full shortening. So, just kind of bear that in mind when you're choosing a dress. Next, because you've got so much leg on display, think about the top half and remember more is more when it comes to upper body.

So, go for something with sleeves and a high neckline so whether it's dressy or more casual, it is always more advisable to do it that way unless you are very young and you have the body of a supermodel, can you really get away with wearing anything that exposes much flesh, but it's far more sophisticated and elegant to cover up a little bit and let your legs do the talking. If you want to wear a short dress but you feel that your legs are not perhaps your best asset to your body, then don't forget the power of the denier, heavy denier tight. Go for something that's roughly about 70 to an 80 denier and that will automatically create a much slimmer, more flattering effect on the leg, and always with the short dress, go for a pair of heels.

It would never quite look right with a pair of flatties. So, team it with a pair of heels. A short dress would always appear most flattering.
