How to choose guttering. There are various different gutters you can use. This is a normal standard half round plastic gutter which is used on most roofs.

This one is a free flow gutter, again, plastic, but a lot steeper than the traditional standard gutter. These are used for a steep pitch of roof so obviously, the water collects when there's a bigger downpour or obviously, there's more room or more depth for the water to flow. You can also get a cast iron guttering which some people use as traditional but obviously, most people choose these for cheapness.

Obviously, the cast iron ones aren't traditional but have become very expensive. In the gutter, we could obviously stop debris collecting in the gutter and blocking them up causing the problems. Here, we have what is called the hedgehog.

It just sits in the gutters and stops leaves and moss and all that coming through and blocking down our pipes adjoining the gutters. Obviously, you just literally lay it down over there. It stops the gutters getting blocked up and obviously, it makes the water free flowing because it's not clogged up.

Here, we have a pigeon spike. We could use these in our gutters. Basically, they stop any pigeons or any rodent running and using them as tunnels or even squirrels, so you know, you could just run it, push the pigeon spike down, and that will stick to that quite easily.
