How To Choose Ladies Navy Trousers

Navy trousers are generally worn for work. They're very formal, very smart and can be smart casual. They're not generally worn as a casual trouser or at the weekend.

When thinking about navy trousers, they can come in various shades of navy, almost very very dark, almost black in appearance or a light navy. And again the choice is completely up to you in terms of which colour level you choose. The navy worn more casual, tends to be in denim where you can get lots of different washes, so you can get a very dark navy wash or a very light navy wash in denim.

A smart navy trouser can come in lots and lots of styles and it can have lots of detailing on it. For example, this navy trouser has a quarter-angled pocket, it has lovely long belt loops and it's got a little ticket pocket. So that's some really interesting detail on a pair of navy trousers.

Alternatively, you could have a navy pair of trousers which have pleats on the front, similar to this, so it's pleated and it's got a funky belt with it. And again navy trousers can come in lots of different wakes of fabrics, different design of fabrics and different styles. So again, it's very much dictated by your body shape.

So when you wear a navy trouser to work, think about the types of colours you could wear with it. Navy looks really good with creams and with more neutral colours. But equally in the evening, if you wanted to create a bit more drama with a navy pair of trousers you could wear it with a strong dark colour like a purple or like a red for instance.

Also when you're wearing navy trousers more casually which could be in cord or something like that, think about some of the different types of clothes you could wear with navy cord. You could wear a t-shirt, you could wear a sweatshirt, you could wear a nice piece of knitwear, so navy trousers could be worn formally or out in the evening or you could wear them casually at the weekend but in a fabric that lends itself to the navy colour like cord or like denim. .
