And younger men tend to favor cord that's lighter in weight, and also cord that's slightly washed and deconstructed, because it lends itself better to a more relaxed, unstructured look. Also, cord for younger men tends to be a finer wale, so a very thin ribbing, which is sometimes called baby cord.

And the colors that the casual cord tends to attract for younger men are the lighter colors, and also sometimes the darker colors in navy. But for younger men, they tend to prefer cord in stone colors, in camel-y colors, et cetera, so the lighter colors generally. In terms of how to wear cord if you're an older man, generally you tend to wear cord with shoes like a brogue or a nice toe-cap or a walking shoe.
