Linen tends to be very relaxed, very casual but can also look quite smart, casual if worn over a white jacket. Linen tends to come in either very neutral colors or very dark colors.

It doesn't have a very interesting color of the palette. So when you are looking for linen, you tend to find the stern or sad or Camus shades or the darker colors like navy, chocolate or black and linen tends to have a lot of texture to it, so it could be quite scrubby which means it's got other bits of color in it and again when you wear linen, think about what you would wear on your top part with it and to make it smarter, you could wear it with a deconstructive jacket. By deconstructed, I mean without any padding in it, without any lining in it.

So it's quite loose and quite floppy. So it gives a more formal look but also it feels quite relaxed to wear.
