How to Choose Paintball Gloves: Selecting the right paintball gloves can make a huge difference in performance. This video will explain how paintball gloves are used and will help you pick out the perfect pair.
Hey, I'm James and I'm from UK paintball. We're going to run through some useful tips on different things for your Paintball day out. We're going to talk about Paintball gloves.
These are a piece of kit. You either love them or you hate them. Some people won't wear them because they find they'll hinder their handling of the gun, whereas other players will wear them.
Obviously, the time of year will determine whether you're going to be wearing paintball gloves. In the winter, you might decide that you want to get some gloves if you're going to be playing a lot of paintball. When you're choosing your paintball gloves, you'll want to get yourself online, have a good look about, and see what variety or options are available.
My advice would be when you're choosing your paintball gloves, get a size smaller than you think you're going to need. They'll be nice and tight, real close on your hands. You don't want to end up getting yourself a pair of ski gloves, and never being able to handle your gun, get into your ammo pack or handle extra of paint.
Everything will be falling out of your hands. Once you have your paintball gloves, get the rest of your kit on first. Then you get your paintball gloves on.
As you can see, mine are missing the fingers. I'll come on to that in a moment. Your paintball gloves want to be nice and tight and like I said, try and get a size that is really close fitting to your hands, therefore not bulking out your hands, restricting your play, reaching for stuff, or shooting.
The reason that better players will cut the fingers off their gloves is that it gives them much more freedom and much more grip and purpose on the gun, especially around the trigger area. Also, it enables them a lot more grip when reaching for their extra pods of paint on their ammo pack. It enables them to flip the lids a lot quicker, empty bottles quicker into the hopper, or the loader much more efficiently.
Also, like I said, around the trigger area, it gives you a lot more freedom whether you're using a single trigger or a double triggered gun. It gives you much more of a feel for the gun and also eliminates any bulkiness in that trigger area, therefore giving you the ability to really rattle off as quickly as possible. So that was how to choose and wear suitable paintball gloves. .
