Hi. I'm Zoe Lem, stylist and owner of My Sugarland, and today, I'm going to give you some insider's tips on how to do fashion. So, important day, important decision, and the shoes are most women's exciting bit of the outfit so you need to get it right.

But it really depends on the outfit you go for, the style, the color and then the era, if vintage. So, you need to get the right shoe, and for your leg as well. So, lots of different options.

A lot of the vintage shoes have a kind of sheen, fabric style that's quite a bright gold. The difference in the shoe is this is quite high coverage on the toe so it can make your toe look longer depending on your foot size. So if you're very big footed, you don't want to go for something that covers very high on the toe.

The heel is a really important aspect of the shoe. That's quite a chunkier heel. A lot of women don't want to be walking on a really high heel for their wedding day because they're going to be wearing them for such a long time.

But obviously, the longer the heel, the more lengthening it is. So, you want to make sure that it's flattering. If you're very petite, you don't want to go for a really chunky heel because it's going to make you look quite blocky and it's going to make you look even slimmer.

So, you want to go for something that's relative. It's like with patterns, if you're smaller or bigger, you need to keep everything in proportion and keep the balance right. So, there's that option.

This is great because it's a concealed platform and it's got a long heel so it's going to give you the height but you're not walking on such a high elevation. There's padding through the heel so it's going to be great for wearing all day. It's got a vintage style peep so it's not ugly toe cleavage, it's a point.

This is great for most leg widths because it's chunky at the top and goes slim rather than being a really stick stiletto. With regards to what color gold to go for, these days, you can mix up the metallics quite a lot, and actually if you go within similar tones, you can mix up the shine and brightness. So, the textures are really nice together if they're within the similar tones.

If your dress is this color gold, you can go for the textured shoe. You want to be careful though. This is a very orange-gold and you don't want to really mix that up too much with a very pale one because it just doesn't work quite as well.

This is yellowy and this has got more of a silvery tone through it. So, you can mix up the metallics but you need to make sure you get it right. If you want to go for a flat shoe for your wedding, then at least just go for a slight little heel because it will make a difference both to the way that you walk and also the way that your leg looks.

So, a little bit of a heel will definitely make a difference. Getting the right gold shoe will look fabulous for your wedding day but they're so versatile. You'll be able to wear them with so many different outfits.

So, it's important to get the right one and make sure it works for you. And that's how to choose the perfect gold shoe for your wedding. .
