So, if you need to buy some tap shoes, you can buy them online at Dance Direct or Dance Mania, or you can go to your local dance store. Some common places to buy shoes are Block or Carpetzio. I've got my tap shoe here for you.

The best tap shoes are the ones with Teletone taps, which are three screws rather than taps that are stuck on. This way, you can get a screw driver and you can change the sound by loosening or tightening the tap. You don't want to make them too loose because that can bring up the floor, so make sure you have a screw driver every class.

You also want to make sure that you've got the taps on the heels. Again, don't make the heels too loose and don't make them too tight. You want to be able to adjust the sound so that it's nice and crisp and rounded.

When you buy your first shoe, try to make sure that you buy a hard-soled shoe. Now, I've got this flick sole shoe here but that's for more advanced tappers, which means that I can point my foot much better. You want to make sure that you have the hard-sole shoe.

It will be much easier for you. Some common brands of tap shoe are Carpetzio or Block. You can buy tap shoes with bigger heels than this, and smaller heels than this.

With a higher heel, although it looks good, it's actually much harder and you may lose your balance, so I would recommend getting a heel this size. You'll find it much easier. So, please take into account all these factors when choosing a tap shoe. .
