How To Choose The Right Blow Drying Brush
Determining which blow drying brush is right for you can be quite the challenge if you do not know what you are looking for. However, with a little help from Andrew Jose from the Andrew Jose Salon in London, you will find that it is not as difficult as it seems!
Hello, My name is Anderew Jose of Andrew Jose Salon on Charlotte Street, London. How to choose your hairdressing brush. So, first of all as you can see from these four brushes, each one is distinctly different.
The smallest will give you the smallest curl, but probably is actually the most difficult to use. And the largest, of course, will give you quite a big, deep wave. Now, choosing the right hair brush is integral to the hairstyle that you've got.
If you have a flatter hairstyle, then a round brush will be much more difficult to use.
So therefore you choose a brush that is actually flatten. If you want to give a little lift, then the Denman brush is fantastic because you can come into the hair, lift up, turn, and move to the side, So you get a little bit of root lift.
A paddle brush is for longer hair, or for smoothing hair, because of its flat surface the hair travels through it, and with the hair dryer pointing down, enables you to dry the hair simply and smoothly, without any tangling. Curling hair is a little more difficult and it is a little bit of an art and is something that takes a bit more learning to do. You need to first of all use a clip, and section the hair quite distinctly.
And a brush like this can give you quite big ringlets into the hair, winding each section and picking up. The brush that I've chosen today has quite a short bristle, but it's actually got a ceramic base to it, which heats up and puts the heat into the hair, drying it more quickly, giving a smooth shine to each curl. Obviously, the tighter the curl, the smaller the diameter, but they are harder to use.
A vent brush is a natural alternative and is great for men's hair and also if you want to wear your hair more naturally. You can see the curve of this brush fits to the scalp really quite well. And as you brush it through, particularly for men, it keeps the natural movement, but allows the air to go right the way through.
There's a selection, you'll find many other different types, including some that have revolving bases. If in doubt, ask your hairdresser for the advice for the best brush for the hairstyle you've got today. .
