Paul Russel, manager and director of Happy Hands Cleaning Services, explains briefly but thoroughly, how his team cleans suds-covered glass, greasy ovens, and restoring that glamorous shine we all strive for. All while conserving your products.
Really, there's plenty of products at the moment that you could use that you don't really need to so it is worth it to get a very good product that you can use for things like removing soap suds on glass. So, we like soap suds on glass, you need a straight edge wiper, wet cloth, dry cloth. Spray onto the glass, then put your window wiper on there and then with your wet cloth, try and get with the product off and then you start drying as well.
Things like dirty ovens, very greasy ovens, we use a product called Sif. You can also use biological washing powder as well. It's a very good greaser.
Just leave it to soak for a while. If you are worried about your floor, lay some cloths down or some old newspapers so it doesn't run onto your floor. Let it soak for a while.
Then you want to be using things like Silver Scowers, Scotch Brite, and just agitate, wipe off, and then dry. What most people want is that wow factor, that sparkle, so things like the taps, you would clean them as normal and then you buff up. That's the key to cleaning, you buffing up.
So, you have a dry cloth, whether it be a tea towel or a towel or something and you rub until you bring out the shine. You buff up, that is the key to making your house have that sparkle factor. In most cases, what we try to do is use our cleaning products sparingly where you can.
So, you might want to consider where you've got normal surfaces, clearly you can't do this with granite but just normal surfaces. You might just want to fill up a bucket of water, put a bit of all-purpose cleaner in there, and use a wet cloth just to wipe down the surfaces and then a dry cloth to dry it with. Then you're not wasting your products.
You don't really want to be going spraying everywhere. It's just going to go through all your products. It's bad for the environment.
So, you know, these are the things you need to think about, spraying your polish to the cloth. And that's how we clean. .
